Creole exhibit is at Museum

Creole Origins: Cane River Diasporas, 1770-1830 exhibition on display at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum through March 15, 2026. The museum is open 10 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Executive Director Speaks

Rotarian Paul Rinehart invited and introduced the Executive Director of the Cane River National Heritage Area Rebecca Blankenbaker at the Nov. 4 Rotary meeting. Blankenbaker presented an overview of past, present and future goals of preserving the cultural story of Natchitoches.

ROMartin CEO Retiring

Rotarian Mike Newton welcomed and introduced Roy O. Martin III, CEO & CIO of MARTCO, who announced his retirement at the end of December 2025. He shared the changes in leadership for 2026. In addition, he presented the focus of the company along with present and future goals.
