Mobile cancer screening Nov. 4-5

The Cenla Medication Access Program’s (CMAP) Cancer Screening Mobile Unit will be in Natchitoches Parish November 4-5 to offer free breast, colorectal and cervical cancer screenings for eligible Central Louisiana residents.

Pianist Yizhen Chen will present a concert at Northwestern State University on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. The concert is part of the Louisiana Piano Series International. Tickets are $15.

Guitarist Cain Budds will present a recital at Northwestern State University on Monday, Oct. 27,at 7:30 p.m. in Magale Recital Hall. Admission is free. A livestream will be available at www.nsu.la/CAPALIVE.Budds will be accompanied by NSU Associate Professor of Cello Paul Christopher.
