Pollock man cited for turkey hunting violations

Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agents cited a Pollock man on March 29 for alleged turkey hunting violations in Natchitoches Parish.Agents cited Chad Alston, 47, for hunting turkeys over a baited area and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

It was a day to celebrate for more than one reason at the Jack Fisher Tennis Complex, as Northwestern State not only honored its seniors but also clinched the Southland Conference regular season title with a gritty 4-3 win over Southeastern on Monday afternoon.
