Demons ready for early wake-up call at Nicholls

When Northwestern State takes the field for its first 11 a.m. football game in seven years Saturday morning, it will do so against a team it looks at as an example.The Demons’ early start to a Southland Conference game at Nicholls comes nearly seven years to the day since its last 11 a.m.

Demon Madness tip-off event set for Oct. 24

Youth-laden Demons fall to Texas A&M-Commerce

A turnover helped the Northwestern State football team secure the fast start it wanted Saturday afternoon against Southland Conference foe Texas A&M-Commerce.

Northwestern gals lose in straight sets at Texas A&M Corpus-Christi

After keeping it relatively close in the first two sets, Northwestern State fell to Texas A&M Corpus-Christi in straight sets.The Demons kept it close in the first set, battling runs from AMCC and pushing back. Despite their effort and hard work, miscommunication prevented them from succeeding.

S/Sgt Bullock is latest honoree at Northwestern football game

In continuing its tradition of honoring those who serve in the nation’s Armed Forces, Northwestern State University named Staff Sgt. Brandon Bullock the honorary captain during its football game on October 12.
