Nettles Brown named honorary captain at Oct. 19 NSU game

In continuing its tradition of honoring those who serve in the nation’s Armed Forces, Northwestern State University named Colonel Lesh Nettles Brown, U.S. Air Force Retired, the honorary captain during its home football game against Southeastern Louisiana University Oct. 19.

NSU clinches spot in SLC tourney with win against Houston Christian

On Senior Day, it was a senior and a freshman who pushed Northwestern State past Houston Christian 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Lady Demon Soccer Complex, punching its ticket to the Southland Conference Tournament for the sixth straight season.
