SNAP distribution is underway in Louisiana

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) will distribute federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) funds to all eligible Louisiana SNAP recipients starting Nov. 7. The Department has also ended staff furloughs and reopened SNAP offices, effective today.

Museum will host LSU Shreveport Pilot coaches, select players to mark winning season

On Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 6-8p.m., the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame & Northwest Louisiana History Museum will host a special panel celebrating the LSU Shreveport Pilots, the first college baseball team in history to complete a perfect, undefeated season.
