Arrest made of man carrying weapons at local night club

The Natchitoches Police Department arrested Quintin Chatman, 20, of Bossier City for being in possession of two firearms at a local night club early Sunday morning.On Aug. 24, around 12:51 a.m., NPD officers were notified of a disturbance at a night club in the 7000 block of Highway 3110.

New Chiller for Court House

It took working overtime and on Saturday to lift and install a chiller at the Natchitoches Parish Courthouse last weekend. The old chiller left employes in the judges’ offices and court room without air conditioning for the week. The preliminary estimate of cost was $8,000.
