The Natchitoches Prayer Coalition will hold Bridging the Gap Wednesday, July 16 at noon in the First Baptist Church Shults Chapel. The chapel is accessible from the Corner of Second and Touline streets. The service will to pray for the community and its members.

Native American Crafts workshop set

A Native American crafts workshop to be held at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum Saturday, July 12, from 2- 4 p.m. The event will be interactive, with four Native American tradition bearers their cultural knowledge.

Local Student on Dean’s List at Washburn University

Washburn University has announced its spring 2025 Dean’s List honorees. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must be enrolled in 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 to 3.99.Among those students was Reagan Bolton from Natchitoches.
